Walking Alongside the Next Generation
Serving in youth ministry is about more than leading a lesson. It's about building relationships, encouraging students, and helping them grow in their faith. As part of the NL YTH Team, you'll have the opportunity to walk alongside middle and high school students as they discover who God created them to be and learn what it means to follow Jesus.
ways to serve
Junior High (Grades 7–8)
Help create a fun, welcoming environment where middle school students can build friendships, ask questions, and grow in their understanding of God's Word. Volunteers serve through small groups, conversations, games, and mentoring.
High School (Grades 9–12)
Invest in high school students as they navigate life, deepen their faith, and prepare for what's next. Volunteers lead small groups, build meaningful relationships, and encourage students through biblical teaching and authentic community.
event chaperones
If you enjoy investing in students but can't commit to serving every week, becoming an event chaperone is a great way to get involved. Chaperones serve alongside our youth leaders at special events by helping supervise students, building relationships, and creating a fun, safe environment for everyone.
